Dr. Carachure is happy to be back in her hometown Tyler, Texas where she was born and raised. Her academic journey started after graduating from John Tyler High School and completing her associates of science in biology at Tyler Junior College. She then continued her academic career at Texas A&M University receiving her bachelors of arts in Biology, with a minor in Applied Learning Science - Teaching, Engineering, and Math. In 2023 she completed her optometric training at University of the Incarnate Word - Rosenberg School of Optometry.
During optometry school her clinical training included a private practice in Longview, Texas and at McWethy TMC Optometry clinic at the Brooke Army Medical Center in Fort Sam Houston. Her interests include pediatric eye care, special needs examinations, and general family practice. In her free time, Dr. Carachure enjoys spending time with her husband and son, and is excited to spend more time with relatives and friends back home.
